Mi Gente YXH Latin Festival Saturday, August 15 The Mi Gente YXH Association is proudly hosting the city’s inaugural Mi Gente YXH Latin Fest at the historic Medalta in the Historic Clay District from 2-10p.m. and accessible event built on the core values of inclusivity so that every family and individual feels deeply welcomed. Come experience a vibrant day packed with live music, interactive dance workshops,

a dedicated Kids’ Corner, and a bustling market of local vendors. Delicious food will be available for purchase from local food trucks, and you can even try the exclusive “Mi Gente YXH Cerveza” community beer collaboration with Medicine Hat Brewing Company. Share in the joy, connect with neighbours, and celebrate the rich tapestry of the community at Mi Gente YXH Latin Festival.

This landmark cultural celebration marks the association’s second anniversary, following the massive success of last summer’s Salsa in the Park, and is a recipient of the 2025 Canadian Choice Award for Non-Profits.
