Battle Creek Showdown August 23, 2025 Battle Creek Showdown is a decade-long

mountain bike festival hosted in the lodgepole pine and aspen forest in Elkwater, Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. Only 45 minutes from Medicine Hat, over 200 riders race the highest elevations between the Rocky Mountains and Labrador. After the race, the evening brings local food and live music.
