Named because it was once the location of a Northwest Mounted Police outpost. Naturalists welcome the splendor of wildlife mixed with the flora and fauna of grasslands at this 97.7 hectares (241.43 acres) natural reserve. The cottonwood “giants” are thought to be 200-300 years old. The Police Point Park Nature Centre offers various displays and interpretive programs, which is open year round.
