MONARCH THEATRE

The Monarch is Western Canada’s oldest operational movie theatre. Opened in 1911, the Monarch shows new movies as well as caters to a variety of events including: corporate functions, photo shoots, birthday parties, live music and theatrical performances. They received historical designation and maintain its art deco look from its last major face-lift in the 1940’s.
