Our city is home to many wonderful recreation facilities, built for residents, guests and visi tors alike. We understand the costs associat ed with building these facilities, but also see the value of this investment in our community. Every year our city hosts hundreds of sporting, recreational events and tournaments that in spire our community to be active and provide us with opportunities to socialize and have fun.

We are thrilled to have won the opportuni ty to host the national 2026 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games. This will be an in credible opportunity to showcase our city and offer memorable experiences for athletes, coaching staff, residents, and volunteers.
