Transportation

Medicine Hat is located in the Southeastern Corner of Alberta, Canada. It is 3 hours East of Calgary and about 4.5 hours West of Regina. It is located on three major highways the Trans Canada Highway (#1), the Crowsnest Highway (#3) and the 41 Highway. The Medicine Hat Regional Airport (YXH) provides regional transportation services in a cost effective manner, serving the air transportation needs of Medicine Hat and the surrounding area. It operates as stimulus for economic, recreational, and social activities; hosting a number of different flight services and adding to the accessibility of our area.

The City of Medicine Hat offers public transportation to all areas of Medicine Hat with the main transit station and office located in the middle of downtown. Medicine Hat Transit also offers charter services within the province of Alberta. There are two shuttles that go to Calgary from Medicine Hat every day, J & L Shuttle and Prairie Sprinter.
