GRANDSTAND BANQUET ROOM FEATURES: · 4,000 square feet · Seats 200 people without a dance floor · Seats 168 people with a dance floor · Large, open space with concessions services available · Located under the Grandstands HIGDON HALL FEATURES: · Cactus Room (3,200 square feet that seats 160 people without a dance floor and 112 people with a dance floor) · Wild Rose Room (4,800 square feet that seats 256 people without a dance floor and 208 people with a dance floor)
The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede was established in 1887 when local merchants and ranchers came together to bring the two communities closer. Today, the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede operates their events with over 500 volunteers and is the largest economic driver in Southeastern Alberta. Their mission is to promote and develop urban-rural ties in Southeastern Alberta by promoting a unique brand of community events and services while recognizing their western heritage.
