Experience Guide | Tourism Medicine Hat

Visitor Information Centre

ADVICE RIGHT FROM THE LOCALS, ALL YEAR LONG. Just off the Trans Canada Highway, two minutes from the World’s Tallest Tepee, you’ll find a group of locals sharing all the inside information on what to see and do in Medicine Hat, based on you and your travel interests. With a culinary-forward food and drink scene, a thriving arts and culture community, carefully curated boutiques, and more mindful experiences, stop by the Visitor Information Centre to find more things to do in Medicine Hat. Sharing from personal experience and years of living in Canada’s Sunniest City, meet the locals, find new experiences, and receive clear directions on how to get there.

WE ALSO HAVE A composting bin! Toss your produce into our composting bin to feed worms and contribute to nutrient-rich soils. Public washrooms! A clean and sanitary spot inside the Visitor Centre building. Free Maps and Experience Guides! Find things to do and how to get around Canada’s Sunniest City. Water bottle filling station! Stay hydrated during your travels. Playground and picnic area! If you need a break from the road, have a seat in our picnic area and let the kids burn off some energy. There are local beverages for purchase year round, and free fresh produce in the summer. Off-leash dog run! It’s fenced and ready for your four-legged friend to race around. Free sani dump! Open all year to dump, but the water is turned off before the first freeze of the year. Please no commercial dumping at the Visitor Information Centre.
