Experience Guide | Tourism Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT As you drive into the City on the Trans-Canada Highway, you’ll dip down and observe the terrain transform from flat prairie land, to a mountain bikers playground in Medicine Hat. The mountain bike trails showcase the adventur ous landscapes found in the City. Coulees completely surround you and natural beauty appears often on the trails, like prickly pear, pincushion, and brittle cactus, and the South Saskatchewan River. Between Echo Dale Regional Park and Gas City Campground, spend a day riding flowy trails that range in difficulty from green to black in Canada’s Sunniest City. Medicine Hat has a 155-kilometre trail system. Once finished mountain biking for the day, you can leisurely ride and grab a cold drink or a fresh bite at a brewery, bakery, café, or eatery. The experience doesn’t stop on the trails.

The slight climb on Iron Leg , towards Gas City Campground , has beautiful panoramic views of the City and South Saskatchewan River.

Powder Monkey in Echo Dale Regional Park is an exciting trail, with wooden features

to try out, in a low consequence area.
